Sigma Delta Tau supports Prevent Child Abuse America, a foundation working towards an end to child abuse in our country. Each semster, our chapter hosts a philanthropic event at the University of Illinois campus designed to raise money and awareness for our charity. During the Fall, we organize “House Moms in the HotsΣΔΤ, ” which is a Family Fued styled game show on campus pop culture between sorority house moms. Then, in the Spring semester, we host “ΣΔΤ Late”. This fun philanthropy requires the girls in the house to sell refreshments outside the campus bars during the weekend nights. Hungry students love to purchase our cookies and cupcakes late at night as well as make a contribution to Prevent Child Abuse America.
